Kookiefroggie's Recolor

Have you ever wanted a recolor that doesn't change the color of the grass and soil throughout the seasons? See snow in winter but not get blinded into oblivion from how bright everything is? Then this mod is for you!!

I am from middle europe and the way the vanilla grass turns brownish in summer and red in fall always felt weird to me. And in winter the game is to bright to play comfortably. But I did not want to be stuck in spring for all eternity. So I took it into my own hands to create a recolor that made the game feel more like home and makes one excited when looking at it in every season.

The grass, cliffs and soil now stay the same in every season. But I added cherry blossoms, leaves and snow so that every season still looks different. In winter only Tier 2 and 3 grass gets turned into snow. I hope you guys love the look of that as much as I do <3



Ginger Island is included. Currently the sand on beaches is not yet recolored, I might do that next.

This is the very first mod I ever published and I hope you guys enjoy it <3 

Other Features:

• Replaces the fence in the OutdoorTilesheet with a seasonal variant of the Hardwood Fence and makes the craftable version seasonal as well.
  

• Recolors the tilled soil. The tilled soil in winter stays brown. Replaces the fertilizers with cute vanilla weeds:
  



• Recolors the townsquare in all seasons to a darker color:
  

Installation:

• install SMAPI and Content Patcher
• Unzip this mod into Stardew Valley/Mods.
  

Compatibility:

• Not compatible with other mods that recolor grass, soil and cliffs for obvious reasons
  

• Should be compatible with most mods that replace buildings apart from some small texture replacements in this mod like the fence.
