Sunberry Village: The Rainbow Ends at Sunberry

Sunberry Village is an expansion mod created by skellady, sophiesalacia, and The Sunberry Team! Adds a new town to explore south of Pelican Town with new NPCs, custom maps, crops, trees, special orders, weapons, and more!

CHARACTERS:

- 17 new NPCs
- Over 80 new events
- New stories and plotlines to uncover

If you're reporting bugs, please include your SMAPI log! We can't help without a log.

A "config.json" file will generate upon launching the game with Sunberry Village. You can either edit it manually or through Generic Mod Config Menu (GMCM). This is a list explaining all the configuration options:

FestivalPatches

Default: true

Description: Enables/disables SBV's festival patches but keeps the NPCs where they are. Only disable if you run into a visual issue that annoys you. Switch to false if you want to disable them.

BoardUnlock

Default: Vanilla

Description: Toggles whether you want the Sunberry special order board to unlock with vanilla, or with reaching 4 hearts with Elias. Switch to Elias if you don't want it to unlock with vanilla.

IncludeNPCsInPerfection

Default: true

Description: Whether or not Sunberry Village NPCs count towards perfection. True by default. Set to false if you don't want them to count.

Sunberry Village should be compatible with EVERYTHING, including Stardew Valley Expanded (SVE), Ridgeside Village (RSV), East Scarp (ES), and Visit Mount Vapius (VMV). If you run into any issues, let us know!

Sunberry Village also adds crossover content in the form of dialogue, events, schedules, etc. for a bunch of mods.

SUNBERRY VILLAGE DOES NOT WORK ON MOBILE/ANDROID OR ANY GAME VERSION THAT ISN'T 1.6.15+

If you'd like to make a mod to alter or build onto Sunberry Village's art/dialogue/etc., please see the permissions below:

- YOU CAN make alternate portraits/sprites for the NPCs as long as it's a significant change/edit, rather than editing three pixels and posting. YOU CAN'T use AI generated images. YOU CAN'T change the skin tone/facial features of our characters of color. Please be respectful.
- YOU CAN make alternate art of our items/machines/etc.
- YOU CAN add onto/alter the dialogue of the NPCs, but the changes MUST be approved by skellady or sophiesalacia first.
- YOU CAN make recolors of our tilesheets to fit your preferences (desaturated/darker/VPR inspired/etc.)
- YOU CAN make a translation of the mod as long as you don't remove or change ANY aspect of our characters (Ex: erasing a character's sexuality/gender identity). YOU CAN'T use AI/ChatGPT to translate our mod. Either translate it yourself manually, or don't translate it at all.
- YOU CAN'T make NSFW art or dialogue for the NPCs.
- YOU CAN'T alter the existing story lines of the NPCs (Ex: making Diala or Derya romanceable).
- YOU CAN'T make an NPC for Sunberry Village, unless it's for your own personal use. Please understand that this is a closed project for us and our friends. It's our little playground where we get to have fun and create :] Any new additions or NPCs will be sought out by the team. If you're looking to add your NPCs to an existing town/village, you can take a look at East Scarp and similar mods that accept applications.
